B. Line Housing Information Ltd

We offer an efficient, thorough and cost effective service in understanding housing markets and estimating needs.

We use up to date, comprehensive, dynamic data, in keeping with Communities and Local Government 2007 guidance.

We believe that in housing markets, location is highly important in gaining understanding.

Using advanced IT techniques of data mining and mapping with GIS, we put your data, and much more besides, into map form, and analyse and interpret it interactively.

Our approach uses data from many sources, including:

*                House price data at full address level

*                CACI Paycheck incomes data

*                Migrations matrices

*                Census data at Output Area detail

*                RSL CORE

*                LA CORE (where available)

*                Data from local authority operational systems

We enter all the data we get in a GIS based 'housing market data visualisation system' to see and understand housing market patterns and profiles.

This lets everyone see the same data on interactive maps in a readily understandable form.  It can then be interpreted using local knowledge and experience for specific areas such as part of a city, estate, village, or around an individual site.  Data can be selected and extracted, and visualisation and statistical analysis techniques applied as needed.

GIS mapping can be used to visualise the characteristics of an area, to help make evidence based judgments on policy and interventions.  Download some example maps here.
